Responsibilities
- Define and accelerate the backend architecture for new user onboarding.
- Partner with the engineering manager to foster a growth engineering mindset.
- Build and maintain partnerships with engineering teams that shape user experience.
- Establish instrumentation and experimentation foundations for A/B testing.
- Guide cross-functional alignment with product, design, and data science teams.
- Advocate for reliability, scalability, and maintainability in engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering.
- Ability to steer cross-team projects that solve business problems.
- Strong mentorship skills to help other engineers level up.
- Deep understanding of data-informed decision-making and experimentation.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-paced growth environments.
- Excellent communication skills for distilling complex technical trade-offs.
- Experience with ranking, recommendations, and personalization in ML-heavy products.
