Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available application architectures and solutions.
- Develop full-stack features and components spanning React frontend applications, backend services, and databases.
- Provide frontend, backend, architecture, data, and software implementation solutions using React and FastAPI.
- Collaborate with developers, technical leads, data scientists, analysts, and product managers to define architecture and implementation approaches.
- Review pull requests, enforce coding standards, and act as a quality gatekeeper for software engineering practices.
- Create technical documentation, diagrams, and artifacts or evidence required by auditors.
- Enhance user experience while maintaining compatibility with existing data products and platforms.
- Ensure development, coding, privacy, and security standards are followed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience building web applications and user interfaces from scratch through production.
- Strong proficiency with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Node.js.
- Hands-on programming experience with Python, FastAPI, Flask, PySpark, Java, J2EE, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Production cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, Aurora RDS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and applying DevOps engineering practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with stakeholders across countries and functions.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum cross-functional software development and delivery teams.
- Cybersecurity or IT security knowledge is a bonus, including vulnerability management, cyber asset management, SAST/DAST, IAM, SSO, MFA, cyber threat intelligence, security operations, access control, network security, insider threat, and data loss protection.
- Knowledge of data science, AI/ML/deep learning/NLP models and algorithms, data integration, and MLOps is preferred.
