Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features in Go and other programming languages.
- Build and maintain plugins and support an SDK for partner integrations.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines that deliver tested software to Kubernetes, AWS, and other cloud environments.
- Write automation and deploy software to Docker containers, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Implement security features and learn secure software development lifecycle practices.
- Collaborate with Scrum team members and teams in sales, support, product development, and professional services.
- Use development tools, open-source technologies, AI models, agents, and coding assistants to accelerate software development.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate Computer Science program.
- Have completed at least two years of coursework in the current program.
- Be comfortable programming in two or more languages.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, time management, planning, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to work in Ottawa on a hybrid schedule of three days per week in the office.
- Preferred: previous software development work terms or relevant projects.
- Preferred: knowledge of or interest in React, Vite, OpenAPI, Angular, Spring Boot, and other frameworks.
- Preferred: experience managing, building, and testing software; AI-assisted development or AI-based solutions; and development on Linux or macOS.
