Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an in-house audio toolset supporting the creation and implementation of in-game audio assets.
- Collaborate closely with the Audio team and the wider Rockstar Tools team.
- Track relevant technologies and modern UI standards and drive their adoption in the toolset.
- Balance short-term user needs with long-term audio tool suite development.
- Identify opportunities to optimize user workflows.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent .NET and C# skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a mixed-discipline team.
- Ability to work to schedules and deliver against deadlines.
- An interest in games and interactive sound or music is desirable.
- Familiarity with commercial audio content creation software is desirable.
- Experience designing and implementing intuitive user interfaces for complex data is desirable.
- Knowledge of audio synthesis and DSP is desirable.
- Experience programming in C++ is desirable.
- Experience building applications with WPF is desirable.
