Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers across physical and virtual environments.
- Manage HPC clusters and job scheduling systems such as SLURM or Run:AI.
- Implement, administer, and optimize Docker and Kubernetes in complex large-scale environments.
- Use Bash and Python for automation and performance tuning.
- Work with high-speed interconnects, distributed storage systems, and cluster networking.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Troubleshoot complex system and networking issues in large-scale clusters.
- Install and use monitoring tools to maintain system health, performance, and security.
- Deploy and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google.
- Apply cybersecurity best practices and use Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure deployment.
- Collaborate with development teams using knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Proven experience with CI/CD, containerization, and cloud technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or Google.
- Understanding and application of cybersecurity principles.
- Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible.
- Excellent Bash and Python scripting skills.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Preferred qualifications include CKA, CKAD, or CKS certification; relevant DevOps, cloud, or cybersecurity certifications; additional scripting and automation experience; and participation in community forums or open-source projects.
