Base Salary
$144k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security management system features using Rust and/or Java.
- Lead and influence teams of developers delivering global, highly available, and scalable services.
- Apply advanced security techniques to strengthen system defenses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technology into security management.
- Design, develop, deploy, and support a greenfield AWS Firewall Manager security service.
- Mentor and support other team members while maintaining high-quality customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Have 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Have 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- Have 1+ year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Have 1+ year of Object-Oriented Design experience.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Have experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred qualifications include 3+ years covering the full software development life cycle and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
