Responsibilities
- Conduct architecture, design, and implementation reviews for features, services, platform changes, and cloud initiatives.
- Support threat modeling, secure-by-design practices, application security, cloud and infrastructure security, and secure software supply chain security.
- Assess security risks involving AI products, internal AI usage, data exposure, acceptable use, vendors, and AI workflows.
- Identify realistic attack paths, assess impact and likelihood, and translate findings into pragmatic remediation priorities.
- Partner with engineering, GRC, and SecOps teams to improve security practices, tooling, dashboards, workflows, and integrations.
- Support urgent security matters including incidents, emerging threats, complex remediations, and cross-functional issues.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on technical security experience across application security, cloud and infrastructure security, and secure software supply chain.
- Experience working in a SaaS or internet-scale product environment where security operates at engineering speed.
- Ability to review designs, challenge assumptions, support remediation, and translate security needs into practical engineering improvements.
- Strong experience with security tools, technical risk assessment, security visibility, prioritization, and remediation workflows.
- Ability to work as a broad-scope senior individual contributor and influence engineering and cross-functional teams.
- French and English proficiency, with English as the working language.
- Experience with SOC 2 Type II and third-party risk management in a SaaS environment is preferred.
- Experience with Vanta or similar GRC automation platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI governance topics or the security implications of AI tooling is preferred.
