Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve complex faults and failures in embedded systems.
- Perform deep debugging using JLink/JTAG, Trace32/Lauterbach, logs, and crash dumps.
- Develop features, optimize code, and improve product quality, stability, and reliability.
- Reproduce customer cases, identify root causes, and contribute to corrective actions.
- Collaborate with development, support, product, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in C and/or C++.
- Experience with real-time operating systems, tasks, semaphores, and concurrent programming.
- Knowledge of Ethernet communication, TCP/IP, sockets, and industrial protocols including OPC UA, MMS, PROFISafe, and PROFINET.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as secure boot and secure communication.
- Understanding of distributed control systems, PLCs, and IEC 61131 languages, including Structured Text, Function Block Diagrams, and Sequential Function Charts.
- Experience with Linux, containers, SCA/Klocwork, unit and function testing, XML/JSON parsing, Git, Visual Studio, TFVC, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Experience with VxWorks and AC 800M or similar automation products is advantageous.
- Structured, analytical troubleshooting mindset and interest in improving complex systems.
