Base Salary

$129k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

Provide architectural and technical guidance to product development teams.
Oversee software, hardware, and infrastructure design.
Potentially own the Software Development Lifecycle and continuous integration processes and tools.
Build and lead software, hardware, and infrastructure development groups.
Apply Sutter Health’s technical standardization vision across services and solutions.
Maintain organizational balance and system coherence across build-versus-buy decisions and application integration.
Design, develop, and implement large-scale system projects.
Establish cooperative working relationships with internal stakeholders and external organizations.
Communicate effectively with executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of the degree or diploma.
Five years of recent relevant experience.
Extensive knowledge of industry development languages and frameworks.
Working knowledge of networking architecture and protocols.
Working knowledge of secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments.
Proficiency with object-oriented programming, client/server systems, scripting, portal technology, and web architecture and development.
Workday and/or HR technology experience is highly desired.
ERP systems, ServiceNow, and/or JIRA experience is highly desired.
Ability to prioritize work, analyze complex information, manage changing workloads, and communicate with diverse audiences.
