Base Salary

$167k - $192k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures using security frameworks including NIST, CIS Benchmarks, and Zero Trust.
  • Deploy and manage Azure-native security services including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Azure Firewall, and Azure Policy.
  • Develop and enforce scalable cloud-native security controls using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Lead Zero Trust adoption, including network segmentation, continuous verification, and least-privilege access.
  • Modernize IAM by integrating cloud-native identity providers and enforcing MFA and conditional access.
  • Conduct threat modeling and security risk assessments for cloud services, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Build automated security monitoring and alerting systems for comprehensive cloud visibility.
  • Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and secure code deployment practices.
  • Investigate cloud and hybrid-environment security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive remediation.
  • Support continuous compliance monitoring and reporting for PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
  • Provide engineering guidance for Azure PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS deployments.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud and/or infrastructure security, including 3+ years focused on Microsoft Azure or multi-cloud environments.
  • Strong expertise in cloud-native security engineering tooling and identity and access management.
  • Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, or Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, CSPM, CWPP, and/or CNAPP technologies.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust, least privilege, and cloud security governance models.
  • Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and secure connectivity such as Security Service Edge or Secure Access Service Edge.
  • Background in cloud incident response and security monitoring.
  • Understanding of cloud-related regulatory requirements including GDPR, HIPAA, and FedRAMP.
