Responsibilities
- Coach a team or domain technically and guide team members on best practices and high standards.
- Set quality goals and development practices while driving continuous improvement.
- Integrate software components and third-party libraries into existing systems.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and software quality.
- Analyze and optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Develop software that logs and stores performance, usage, and error data for monitoring and reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to define, design, and ship features.
- Resolve moderate-complexity requests using creative methods and sound judgment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- At least eight years of experience in software development, software design and architecture, testing and quality assurance, or equivalent with a bachelor’s degree, or no prior experience with a master’s degree.
- Preferred skills include software test automation, Agile methodology, SDLC, DevOps, business acumen, continuous improvement, version control, quality specifications, software design, code reviews, programming languages, debugging, API design, API integration, and test-driven development.
Benefits
