Responsibilities
- Build new products inside the company.
- Develop new code with Rust and work with existing Go and Ruby code.
- Create proofs of concept in new areas and drive viable concepts to production or discontinue them.
- Write, ship, and maintain high-performance asynchronous applications.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience writing, shipping, and maintaining Rust code.
- Experience with other languages such as Ruby, Python, Go, JavaScript, or Java.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multiprocessing, and memory management.
- Experience developing high-performance asynchronous Rust applications, preferably with Tokio.
- Understanding of network protocols and stacks.
- Understanding of classic database and NoSQL technologies.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Understanding of the Linux environment.
- Golang or Ruby knowledge, WASM experience, and open-source contributions are preferred.
- Ability to work remotely with globally distributed teams, communicate in spoken English, solve problems, propose improvements, adapt to new technologies, switch between projects, and travel for business.
