Base Salary
$180k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, fine-tune, and deploy ML and LLM-driven systems used in production by professional investors.
- Build and maintain fast, observable, and reliable inference pipelines.
- Integrate OpenAI, Gemini, and Anthropic models into reasoning and knowledge systems.
- Work with backend engineers to productionize models in Golang-based services.
- Improve signal quality rather than focusing only on model accuracy.
- Review code and designs with an emphasis on long-term maintainability.
- Own major parts of the AI stack and improve insight quality and latency.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building ML or applied AI systems in production.
- Startup experience working on a core product rather than a side project.
- Strong Python skills and experience integrating with backend systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Fintech experience or a strong personal investment background.
- Experience with LLM reasoning systems or knowledge graphs is preferred.
- Exposure to Golang-based ML integrations is preferred.
- Prior experience supporting investor-facing products is preferred.
