Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software using C++, Rust, and Python.
- Develop product features, developer tools, software infrastructure, engineering infrastructure, and developer productivity solutions for circuit simulation products.
- Design and maintain build systems, dependency management, and CI/CD pipelines across Linux and Windows.
- Develop automation tools to improve software quality, engineering productivity, and release efficiency.
- Design and implement desktop user interface components and internal engineering applications.
- Improve developer workflows through build optimization, IDE integration, automation, and tooling enhancements.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, QA engineers, and product management throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions, code reviews, debugging, testing, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in C++, Rust, and Python.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience developing cross-platform software on Linux and/or Windows.
- Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Python scripting and build automation, Python packaging and wheel-format knowledge, C++ compiler and linker configuration, build systems, CI/CD platforms, Qt or similar UI frameworks, dependency management, software security practices, and scientific, engineering, CAD, or EDA software development experience.
