Responsibilities

  • Define security capability requirements with Security, Risk and Compliance stakeholders to address business needs and mitigate risk.
  • Install, configure, evaluate, and implement platform security technologies through proof-of-concept projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoints and servers.
  • Develop solution architectures and support implementation and rollout of platform security tools.
  • Create requirements, test cases, standard operating procedures, policies, procedures, and technical standards.
  • Lead sustainment projects and act as system manager for identified platform security tools.
  • Contribute to the platform security roadmap and identify critical security needs and capability gaps.
  • Partner with IT, business colleagues, and cross-functional teams on security initiatives.
  • Create SIEM content and onboard data sources while supporting enterprise-scale EDR, DLP, DSPM, and SOAR capabilities.

Requirements

  • High school degree plus eleven years of experience, associate’s degree plus nine years, bachelor’s degree plus seven years, or master’s degree plus five years of experience.
  • Practical experience in IT security and infrastructure protection.
  • Experience performing project-focused information security work with cross-functional enterprise teams.
  • Understanding of audit and monitoring, risk response and recovery, cryptography, data communications, computer operations security, telecommunications and network security, security architecture and models, and cloud security.
  • Strong technical experience with platform security technologies, including enterprise EDR, DLP, DSPM, SOAR, scripting, and SIEM.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, presentation, facilitation, diplomacy, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with partners, peers, and senior management and work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Working knowledge of IT processes including incident, problem, defect, and change management.
  • CISSP or GIAC certification is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a pharmaceutical company is preferred.
