Base Salary

$138k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, train, evaluate, and fine-tune machine learning, deep learning, and large language models for business use cases.
  • Build and maintain scalable ML, feature, and data pipelines for training, deployment, inference, and production monitoring.
  • Perform feature engineering, data validation, and preprocessing for large and complex datasets.
  • Prototype and evaluate generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic AI techniques.
  • Integrate models and AI services into applications through APIs while optimizing performance, latency, and cost.
  • Implement testing, evaluation, telemetry, and monitoring to detect drift, bias, and model degradation.
  • Follow responsible AI and model risk standards and collaborate with data scientists and software engineers on end-to-end solutions.
  • Document technical designs, provide code review and mentorship, and lead projects from requirements through implementation, testing, and delivery.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 6 years of hands-on experience building and deploying ML/AI models in production.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, relational databases, and Linux.
  • Experience with scikit-learn, PyTorch, SmartSDK, pandas, and NumPy.
  • Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, model evaluation, optimization, generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, embeddings, and RAG.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, model versioning, CI/CD, MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Gaia, and GKP for MLOps and model deployment pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and related machine learning services.
  • Experience with Git, software testing, code review, API design, GenAI Gateway services, and Phoenix integrations for telemetry, evaluation, and cost analysis.
  • Preferred experience with vector databases, agentic AI frameworks, LLM evaluation, responsible AI, model risk management, regulated-industry AI deployment, or Spark.
