Base Salary
$156k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs.
- Implement and optimize database schemas, queries, and data storage solutions.
- Integrate user-facing frontend elements with server-side logic.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Implement security and data protection measures, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Deploy and manage backend services using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Contribute to microservices architecture and optimize performance through caching, message queues, and distributed systems design.
Requirements
- 8+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with database management and API development, including RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices.
- Experience with scalability, performance optimization, caching strategies, message queues, and large-scale distributed architectures.
- Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
