Responsibilities
- Develop cross-platform features for the Earthworks heavy-machinery system.
- Write embedded Linux software in C++ and build web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Contribute to distributed-system architecture by identifying subdomains and establishing bounded contexts.
- Collaborate with software engineers and domain experts across international locations.
- Apply engineering practices covering specification, automated testing, delivery quality, continuous improvement, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Mechatronics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid professional experience developing embedded software in C++.
- Hands-on experience building web applications with TypeScript and Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience across the full software engineering lifecycle, including specification, automated testing, CI/CD, and technical documentation.
- Experience with embedded devices in industrial or IoT settings is preferred.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in global, cross-functional teams are preferred.
