Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure environments.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions for automated provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
- Enable and enhance CI/CD capabilities across applications and platforms.
- Support and optimize customer-facing digital platforms during peak traffic and critical business periods.
- Manage CDNs, DNS services, and SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle activities.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability and implement proactive resilience improvements.
- Reduce MTTR through automation, observability, incident response improvements, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams on infrastructure solutions.
- Contribute to infrastructure roadmaps, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, cloud engineering, or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and supporting modern software delivery practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
- Preferred: experience administering Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Akamai CDN and content delivery optimization.
- Preferred: knowledge of Linux, Windows, networking, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, and SSL/TLS.
- Preferred: experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Preferred: familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Argo CD, or similar deployment platforms.
- Preferred: experience with observability, monitoring, incident management, and relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
