Base Salary
$170k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and improve high-quality scalable software solutions.
- Build and debug Python solutions supporting quantitative investment strategies and trading technology.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, traders, structurers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.
- Implement secure coding and unit testing practices.
- Work with market data and equities front-office systems to reduce time-to-market for products and capabilities.
- Perform instrumentation and monitoring related to site reliability engineering functions.
- Advise stakeholders, manage technology risks and controls, and contribute to strategic technical direction.
Requirements
- Experience programming in Python and creating and debugging Python solutions.
- Experience with Docker, cloud environments, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with market data used in equities front-office systems, including Reuters and Bloomberg data.
- Knowledge and experience with equity derivative products, including futures and options.
- Experience with SRE functions such as instrumentation and monitoring.
- Knowledge of commodities, futures, and options is highly valued.
- Experience working with front-office users, trading, and structuring is highly valued.
- Knowledge of KDB and programming experience with Java are highly valued.
- Experience using AI agents to create fit-for-purpose solutions is highly valued.
