Responsibilities
- Design and build LLM-driven agents and tools operating inside Unreal Engine using engine-side C++, Python tooling, and editor scripting.
- Design and extend cloud-hosted agent harnesses, services, and databases connecting LLMs with the engine.
- Develop end-to-end features across engine tooling, cloud backend services, and web interfaces for driving and monitoring agents.
- Evaluate and integrate LLM capabilities including tool use, multi-agent orchestration, and context management.
- Define technical direction for reliability, safety, and evaluation of LLM-driven engine automation.
- Partner with engine, tools, and backend programmers and mentor others in game-engine internals and LLM system design.
Requirements
- Strong software programming background with hands-on game-engine experience, preferably Unreal Engine, including engine architecture and tooling/editor scripting.
- Practical experience building or shipping LLM-powered products involving agents, tool-calling, RAG, or prompt/context programming, or strong conceptual understanding of LLMs.
- Experience with cloud-native services and infrastructure, including web APIs, databases, service architecture, and deployment.
- Excellent programming skills in C++ and Python and/or a web backend language.
- Ability to work across the full stack and evaluate tradeoffs among engine code, backend services, and web front ends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
