Responsibilities
- Write, test, and debug software for complex and critical components.
- Collaborate on project requirements, software design, code reviews, and specifications.
- Provide technical expertise, solve complex technical challenges, and research proposed solutions.
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues with operations and support teams.
- Assess and adopt new technologies and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role or relevant software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
- Strong programming, debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Willingness to own complex technical challenges.
- Advanced degree, relevant certifications, or training preferred.
