Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
- Build and evolve licensing-related domain services with attention to correctness, security, and high availability.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, API versioning, backward compatibility, and stable contracts.
- Design and optimize SQL database models and resolve data-related performance and scalability issues.
- Write unit and integration tests and collaborate with QA to detect and resolve defects.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability and address stability and security risks.
- Use GitHub for source control, code reviews, and collaborative development.
- Participate in deployments, releases, operational support, technical discussions, design reviews, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of professional experience as a .NET backend developer or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in C# and the .NET/.NET Core ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, design patterns, best practices, SQL databases, and data modeling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS is preferred.
- Familiarity with microservices architectures and experience with Docker and Kubernetes are preferred.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-aware development, and platform, licensing, entitlement, or security-sensitive systems is preferred.
- Open-source contributions or active participation in developer communities are a plus.
