Base Salary
$135k - $251k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead small embedded test software teams to meet customer requirements within cost, scope, and schedule.
- Provide technical guidance, refine requirements, develop user stories, and collaborate on designs.
- Design, develop, and implement test software for space-based imaging payloads and embedded systems.
- Integrate and test embedded flight systems at the software/hardware level.
- Develop test plans, procedures, traceability, reports, test flows, and test cases.
- Set up, configure, and document hardware and software systems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices.
- Handle complex test software and automated test infrastructure for multiple systems.
- Document testing issues and failures and analyze test results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 9 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a graduate degree with at least 7 years or 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Professional experience developing tests for aerospace systems.
- At least 5 years of experience with one or more of LabVIEW, COSMOS, MATLAB, and Simulink.
- Professional experience integrating and testing embedded processing systems at the software/hardware level.
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance, experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Confluence, space-domain knowledge, space vehicle test software development and integration experience, and familiarity with Fortify Workbench, SonarQube, OMS, and UCI.
