Responsibilities

Develop command-and-control and autonomy software for uncrewed planes, boats, vehicles, and submersibles.
Develop a web-based user interface for autonomously tasking uncrewed platforms.
Follow software safety practices for flight-critical software, including architecture reviews and documentation updates.
Design software using best practices and object-oriented methodologies.
Develop automated unit and integration-level tests.
Maintain code, perform merging, and follow configuration management practices.
Collaborate with team members and deliver software in small, incremental iterations for a DoD customer.

U.S. citizenship is required.
Bachelor of Science degree or advanced degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or the hard sciences is required; ABET accreditation is preferred.
0-3 years of professional experience is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance is required.
Ability to develop software designs using best practices and object-oriented methodologies.
Ability to develop automated unit and integration-level tests.
Familiarity with configuration management, code maintenance, and merging practices.
Preferred experience with C#/.NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Docker, microservices, Git, Linux, and web development.
Familiarity with drones or remote-controlled planes, boats, or ground vehicles is preferred.

In-office position in Huntsville, Alabama, with less than 10% CONUS travel.
Regular hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours occasionally required.
