Base Salary

$120k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, deployment, and management of Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Architect reusable Terraform infrastructure-as-code modules, frameworks, and pipelines.
  • Develop Python, Bash, and Linux automation for provisioning, configuration, orchestration, and operations.
  • Administer Jenkins and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, including Groovy scripts, shared libraries, and workflows.
  • Build, maintain, scale, and troubleshoot Docker and Kubernetes environments and containerized applications.
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and preventive improvements.
  • Design secure, scalable cloud architectures and enforce cloud security, governance, and compliance standards.
  • Create architectural diagrams, automation workflows, runbooks, technical standards, and other documentation.
  • Mentor junior cloud engineers and lead technical initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Evaluate Azure service updates and emerging tools for automation, infrastructure as code, and containerization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of cloud infrastructure experience.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure compute, storage, networking, monitoring, security, IAM, RBAC, and Azure Policy.
  • Experience designing Terraform modules, managing state, and building infrastructure-as-code pipelines at scale.
  • Advanced Python and Bash scripting, Linux system administration, automation, orchestration, and performance tuning.
  • Production experience administering Jenkins and developing declarative, scripted, and Groovy-based pipelines.
  • Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including orchestration, scaling, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Git, branching strategies, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning, architecture decisions, and technical roadmaps.
  • Ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.
  • Willingness to obtain an approved certification within the first year of employment; Azure certifications such as AZ-305 or AZ-400 are strongly preferred.
