Base Salary
$110k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a thought leader and key contributor on the Developer Experience team.
- Independently design and implement features and applications.
- Mentor junior peers and support teammate success through code reviews and software best practices.
- Own and maintain existing software applications.
- Support internal customers, deliver training sessions, and write documentation to reduce support costs.
- Partner with stakeholders to build consistent experiences at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related computer science field.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of TypeScript experience as a back-end language used with Node.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Azure.
- At least 1 year of experience with Postgres or MySQL used with Object Relational Mapper libraries.
- At least 1 year of Python experience.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with front-end applications.
- Command-line experience in macOS or Linux.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include full-stack development, recent React experience, GCP certifications, and experience with Figma, Flask, Node.js, Okta, Slackbots, OpenAI, Jest, Terraform, Concourse, Jira, GitHub, Sentry.IO, VSCode, Docker, DataGrip, or PagerDuty.
- Bonus knowledge of test automation, CI/CD, DevOps, QA, Scrum, HIPAA, HITRUST, or ISO.
