Responsibilities
- Build and operate the shared GenAI platform on AWS using Infrastructure as Code, including upgrades, security, access management, operations, incident response, and internal team support.
- Design turnkey infrastructure blueprints with built-in security, observability, and cost controls for different GenAI use cases.
- Provide end-to-end observability for platform and application workloads, including logs, service health metrics, LLM requests, token consumption, and cost monitoring.
- Make FinOps a core engineering practice across production, experimentation, and research infrastructure.
- Evaluate technologies and platform capabilities such as load testing, gateway routing and caching, self-hosted inference, fine-tuning, DeepAgents, and code execution sandboxes.
- Collaborate with Architects, Cloud and SRE, Security, and Developer Experience teams while sharing technical expertise across the organization.
- For senior-level scope, drive architectural decisions, lead cross-functional initiatives, own key platform domains, and mentor team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Cloud, SRE, or Platform Engineering for the Senior level, with hands-on experience operating AWS in production.
- Proficiency with Terraform, CI/CD, and distributed systems operating at scale.
- Experience building or operating cloud and platform infrastructure with security, observability, and cost management considerations.
- Experience using AI tools to improve engineering work.
- Fluency in English and strong communication, collaboration, investigation, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Nice to have: familiarity with the GenAI ecosystem, Kubernetes and EKS, an AWS Certification, and experience with LLM inference and fine-tuning.
