Base Salary

$150k - $165k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Architect and, when needed, build complex solutions across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, and Azure.
  • Develop Dataverse plugins in C#, client-side scripts, business rules, workflows, and integrations using JavaScript, TypeScript, C#/.NET, REST/SOAP APIs, and ETL workflows.
  • Define CRM architecture, design patterns, coding standards, engineering practices, environment strategy, solution packaging, and release governance.
  • Own the platform ALM/DevOps backbone and promotion pipelines across development, test, and production environments.
  • Set quality standards, review designs and code, monitor and correct complex defects, and resolve performance issues.
  • Ensure employee- and vendor-built solutions meet security, compliance, quality, and governance standards.
  • Lead the technical relationship with the systems integrator and review or grade vendor deliverables.
  • Mentor engineers, provide technical leadership, and document architecture, standards, and platform practices.
  • Monitor emerging Dynamics, Power Platform, Azure, and AI-assisted development capabilities and recommend adoption based on business value.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and 8–10 years of progressive IT experience.
  • Deep, recent experience in the Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure ecosystem, including defining architecture and patterns for a team.
  • Expert Dataverse solution ALM experience, including managed versus unmanaged layering, multi-environment strategy, security role design, and program-level release governance.
  • Experience with Azure identity and security patterns such as App Registrations and managed identity.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent CI/CD tooling for Power Platform release pipelines.
  • Experience mentoring engineers, reviewing work produced by others, and overseeing external vendors or contractors.
  • Ability to operate as the senior technical leader without a technical leader above the role.
  • Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, MB-500/600-series, AZ-204, AZ-305, or similar are preferred.
  • Experience establishing architecture or engineering standards from scratch, overseeing systems integrators, or working across multiple Dynamics lines of business is preferred.
