Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Extend Hazel’s action layer and build safe human-in-the-loop workflows for writing changes back to connected systems.
- Develop full-stack product features using TypeScript, React, and Go services.
- Build AI agent workflows involving streaming LLM responses, multi-step tool use, and approvals.
- Create and maintain integrations with Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, Amazon, and other systems.
- Own APIs at scale, including query optimization, schema design, and workload-based tool selection.
- Work directly with founders and customers to ship production code and improve product ergonomics and UX.
Requirements
- Experience shipping a production LLM feature to real users.
- Experience owning an API at scale, including query optimization, schema design, and selecting appropriate tools.
- Strong TypeScript experience.
- Ability to use coding agents effectively and evaluate where they help or hurt development.
- Deep care for product ergonomics and user experience.
- Former or aspiring founder mindset and high autonomy.
