Full Stack Software Engineer, Applied AI
WonderschoolResponsibilities
- Review and iterate on AI-generated code and use that review as training signal to improve agents.
- Architect the codebase for AI legibility through clean data models, documentation, and removal of legacy patterns.
- Build and maintain an automated product pipeline for signal detection, agent-generated requirements, AI-driven development, code review, and commits.
- Diagnose and fix production failures involving AI agents.
- Build workflow infrastructure that enables operations, sales, and customer-success teams to operate the platform without engineering tickets.
- Translate internal team needs into automated and reliable systems.
- Develop full-stack features across React/TypeScript, Node.js or Elixir, and Postgres.
- Own features from requirements through production and debug issues across the entire stack.
- Monitor production usage, agent failures, edge cases, and provider behavior, including building monitoring and alerting.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, OpenClaw, Codex, Cursor, or similar in a real development workflow.
- Proficiency with React and TypeScript plus at least one backend language such as Node.js, Elixir, or Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with Postgres or a similar relational database.
- Ability to turn ambiguous user signals into concrete technical requirements with limited product-management support.
- Preferred experience operating agentic workflows in production and designing feedback loops that improve AI output quality.
- Preferred startup or high-growth-company experience.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and REST or GraphQL API design.
- Strong ownership and clear written and verbal communication skills.
