Responsibilities
- Design, implement, execute, and report high-quality integration and system tests across firmware, device drivers, and system software.
- Design test infrastructure, features, reusable pipeline solutions, acceptance pipelines, and internal tools.
- Own technically challenging areas and pursue near-total feature coverage for system software releases.
- Perform initial triage and debugging of internal and external issues and drive root-cause investigations with component teams.
- Improve validation frameworks, CI/CD systems, testing methodologies, packaging pipelines, and engineering processes.
- Collaborate with component developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to understand system interactions and use cases.
- Act as a technical authority, communicate complex technical concepts, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in low-level system testing and integration.
- Experience with RTOS and complex boot logic.
- Experience with Linux and device drivers.
- Experience developing tests using Python and C/C++.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Experience with build and integration tools and modern testing practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience working with complex cross-layer issues.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with server-class systems is desired.
- Experience with openBMC or Zephyr is desired.
- Experience with Qemu or a similar emulation environment is desired.
