Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate ML infrastructure and large-scale data-processing pipelines for ad relevance and sourcing.
- Develop and optimize machine learning models using product and shopper understanding to identify relevant advertisements.
- Architect and build high-volume, low-latency, highly available ad-serving systems.
- Integrate ML solutions with distributed systems supporting click-through prediction and ad auctions.
- Run rapid A/B experiments to measure customer response and improve relevance and performance.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Scientists to translate business problems into scalable ML solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of object-oriented design experience and programming experience in at least one software language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
