Responsibilities
- Independently design and implement software features and own components from concept through delivery.
- Define and evolve scalable, maintainable software architecture for AWG product components.
- Translate customer and product requirements into technical requirements and implementation approaches with cross-functional teams.
- Develop high-quality, testable C# and C++ software according to engineering standards.
- Lead debugging and issue resolution for complex problems affecting system stability, performance, and user experience.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, engineering practices, and mentorship of other engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of R&D experience in software product development.
- Professional application development experience with C# and C++.
- Proven experience designing and evolving software architecture for complex, large-scale systems.
- Understanding of software design principles and object-oriented programming.
- Strong core software development skills and willingness to use AI tools throughout the development workflow.
- Experience with version control, CI/CD, and testing practices.
- Preferred knowledge of multithreading and performance tuning.
- Preferred experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Good German language skills or willingness to learn, along with strong written and spoken English communication skills.
