Base Salary
$147k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize software algorithms, REST endpoints, database schemas, and user interface components.
- Develop and integrate software build automation, testing, quality, security validation, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot software build, integration, deployment, and configuration issues.
- Write software design documentation, technical reports, unit tests, and code following established standards.
- Collaborate with software, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure personnel on cloud architecture and reusable development tools.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to process improvement while meeting project schedules and budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in software engineering, software automation, cloud architecture, DevSecOps, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Java, Golang, and/or Python, with knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and development workflows.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and Ubuntu and/or CentOS Linux operating systems.
- Experience with software build automation, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security checks in software development workflows is desirable.
- Experience with unit testing, debugging, source code configuration management tools such as SVN and Git, IDEs, and debuggers.
- U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency is required under ITAR requirements; ability to obtain at least a Secret-level security clearance is required.
- Demonstrated mathematical, analytical, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
