Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and scale foundational backend systems for Parker’s financial platform.
- Architect APIs and shape data models.
- Develop scalable backend services and applications from the ground up.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, security, and growth.
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to deliver impact at scale.
- Work closely with customers to inform product decisions.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience with modern web technologies including Git, Node.js, GraphQL, React, Web APIs, Docker, databases, and Kubernetes.
- Experience building scalable products or applications from scratch.
- Ability to work closely with customers and make practical product decisions.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Strong systems thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and self-direction.
- Fintech or payments experience is preferred.
- E-commerce industry expertise is preferred.
- Open-source contributions or experience are preferred.
