Base Salary
$195k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design security primitives and guardrails such as authentication and access controls.
- Build resilient infrastructure that operates across multiple regions and clouds.
- Create observability tools to enhance system understanding during failures.
- Develop the AI platform layer for training and evaluating models impacting logistics.
- Take initiative to identify and fix issues without waiting for assigned tasks.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in backend or platform engineering.
- Practical knowledge of security concepts including authentication and vulnerability management.
- Experience designing internal platforms and abstractions.
- Ability to own projects from initial documentation to production rollout.
- Proven track record of eliminating categories of problems in engineering.
- Fluency in cloud infrastructure, including containers and networking.
