Base Salary
$195k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build security primitives and guardrails including authentication, secrets management, network boundaries, and access controls
- Design multi-region and multi-cloud infrastructure with isolation and failover
- Build observability systems that make production behavior understandable during incidents
- Develop the AI platform layer, including training pipelines, inference infrastructure, and model evaluation systems
- Identify and fix important problems proactively while taking broad ownership as an early team member
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend or platform engineering experience
- Strong practical knowledge of authentication systems, secrets, common vulnerability classes, and blast-radius analysis
- Experience designing abstractions or internal platforms
- Ability to own projects from initial design through production rollout
- Track record of eliminating whole categories of problems
- Fluency in cloud infrastructure, containers, networking, and multi-region tradeoffs
- Early-stage or high-growth company experience is a bonus
