Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, deploy, and maintain software solutions that improve performance, cost, and reliability.
  • Build and implement high-quality distributed system software for the Amazon S3 storage control plane.
  • Apply software engineering best practices to maintain the quality of team deliverables.
  • Participate in an agile development environment and prioritize impactful projects.
  • Support operational ownership through maintenance and a regular on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
