Base Salary
$173k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical machine learning strategy, including robust model architectures and MLOps practices.
- Lead the end-to-end development, deployment, retraining, optimization, and ownership of multiple machine learning pipelines.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, MLOps automation, model monitoring, and drift detection.
- Design monitoring for model performance, data quality, and system health.
- Productize generative AI solutions and agentic workflows to improve security posture and organizational resilience.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Data Engineering, Research, Platform Engineering, and Product Management teams.
- Provide technical leadership in ML engineering practices and mentor junior machine learning engineers.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field.
- 6+ years of experience across the end-to-end lifecycle of multi-model machine learning systems, from design and development through large-scale deployment.
- Deep practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Airflow, Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Demonstrated experience implementing MLOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, testing protocols, and model performance monitoring.
- Experience with feature engineering, feature stores, generative AI production deployments, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring tools, Spark, and Snowflake.
- Experience formulating ML governance policies and meeting data security regulations.
- Evidence of leading machine learning initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Preferred qualifications include advanced NLP expertise, collaboration with ML research teams, mentoring experience, and publications or patents in quantitative disciplines.
