Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain software for complex wireless devices.
- Contribute as an engineering team member across Qualcomm software technologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Apply embedded programming, algorithms, device drivers, and real-time programming concepts to assigned projects.
- Complete a timed HackerRank technical challenge if invited during the application process.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Available for an 11–14 week internship during Summer 2027, from May through September.
- Expected graduation date of November 2027 or later.
- At least one year of academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
- Preferred qualifications include embedded programming in C, C++, or Assembly; operating-system knowledge; resource-constrained programming; embedded algorithms; microcontrollers; device drivers; real-time programming; communication systems; digital signal processing; and knowledge of 5G NR, LTE, or 802.11.
