Responsibilities
- Lead the design and end-to-end delivery of features across Prime backend services, frontend applications, and backoffice screens.
- Own institutional client and operations journeys including onboarding, account configuration, reporting, settlement, lending, and related tooling.
- Create detailed designs that explicitly address failure states, invariants, constraints, tests, alerts, and recovery paths.
- Provide design-focused code reviews, mentor engineers, and help raise the team's technical standards.
- Operate production systems and participate in an on-call rotation to support business needs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex, high-ambiguity projects with long-term impact and own production systems.
- Strong full-stack production experience with modern backend development, primarily Python/Django and Go, and component-based frontend development with Vue.
- Hands-on experience building financial systems involving balances, ledgers, risk engines, settlement, onboarding/KYC, or payments.
- Strong design judgment focused on failure paths, invariants, constraints, testing, and alerting.
- Excellent communication, cross-team alignment, design-level review, and engineering mentorship skills.
