Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical aspects of enterprise platform pursuits from qualification through close in partnership with sales, account, and professional services teams.
- Conduct technical discovery and map client engineering, AI, cloud, and operations outcomes to Cognizant platforms.
- Design and present solution architectures integrating Cognizant platforms with client tooling, hyperscalers, and ecosystem partners.
- Build and deliver tailored demonstrations, proofs of concept, and readiness assessments.
- Articulate platform value, including chargeback, managed-services, and outcome-based commercial models.
- Respond to technical sections of RFPs, RFIs, and bid processes and shape solution proposals.
- Represent Cognizant platforms at industry events, cloud marketplaces, and partner motions.
- Capture client requirements and field feedback for Platform Engineering roadmap development.
- Coordinate handoffs to implementation teams and Forward Deployed Engineers and support platform adoption and expansion.
- Mentor and develop a team of FSEs to scale the technical go-to-market motion.
Requirements
- 20+ years of experience in software, AI, digital, and cloud engineering.
- 5+ years of experience conducting advisory-led technical conversations with senior client engineers, architects, and C-suite technology leaders.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience across the AI-infused SDLC and ADLC, including AI assurance, cloud modernization, SRE/AIOps, and agentic or generative-AI solutions.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Microsoft, Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, NVIDIA, LLM providers, orchestration frameworks, and observability tooling.
- Experience as a software or platform product engineer, advisory or solutions engineer, developer advocate, or solution architect for a software product is valued.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and technical demonstration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple pursuits, operate in ambiguity, and collaborate across sales, commercial, platform engineering, demo, workshop, implementation, and Forward Deployed Engineering teams.
- Willingness to travel to client sites, studios, and industry events as required.
- Hyperscaler or relevant professional certifications, platform-based PaaS/SaaS engagement experience, cloud-marketplace or co-sell experience, and product-roadmap feedback experience are preferred.
