Responsibilities
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure across a multi-account AWS environment using Terraform and Terraform Enterprise.
- Provision and manage EKS clusters, networking, IAM, and other AWS infrastructure for product and project teams.
- Deploy and operate shared services including GitLab, Artifactory, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling.
- Build automation and self-service tooling that enables secure, efficient software delivery.
- Design and deploy agentic AI workflows for developer activities, infrastructure operations, and platform compliance.
- Host and maintain open-source, COTS, and internally developed services.
- Support MLOps workloads, including model training pipelines and secure data management at scale.
- Build and maintain observability and monitoring infrastructure for platform and product services.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate infrastructure needs into scalable, repeatable platform capabilities.
- Ensure infrastructure and software supply chains meet CMMC, ATO, and NIST security requirements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or cloud engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong AWS experience, including GovCloud, multi-account architectures, Control Tower, IAM, VPC, EKS, and CloudFormation.
- Proficiency with Terraform and experience managing infrastructure at scale across multiple accounts, ideally with Terraform Enterprise or Terraform Cloud.
- Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes clusters in production.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation and infrastructure tooling.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
- Understanding of security fundamentals, including FIPS encryption requirements and compliance frameworks such as CMMC and NIST.
- Ability to work across cloud networking, IAM policies, Helm charts, and container registries.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
- Experience with Go or other systems programming languages is preferred.
- Familiarity with ArgoCD and GitOps-based deployment patterns is preferred.
- Experience with SIEM platforms such as Elastic and centralized logging architectures is preferred.
- Experience supporting ML/AI workloads, GPU-backed instances, training pipelines, and large dataset management is preferred.
- Experience in defense, intelligence, or other regulated environments requiring ATO is preferred.
- Experience operating COTS products alongside custom-built internal services is preferred.
