Base Salary
$150k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of foundational cloud infrastructure across the enterprise.
- Design and operate a multi-cloud environment, including account structure and shared networking.
- Own the self-service experience for engineering teams to provision accounts and deploy resources.
- Author and maintain reusable infrastructure-as-code for other teams.
- Establish CI/CD and deployment standards that scale across the enterprise.
- Build self-service tooling for engineering teams to operate their own systems.
- Make technical evaluations and decisions regarding cloud services and infrastructure tooling.
- Act as a technical anchor for the first infrastructure engineers on the team.
- Partner with teams to ensure infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance delivery.
Requirements
- Typically 8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering.
- Strong background in building, deploying, and operating production applications on cloud.
- Deep experience in designing and operating cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code, particularly Terraform.
- Experience in establishing CI/CD and deployment standards across multiple teams.
- Ability to work across a broad technical surface area and seek consensus.
- Recognized depth in CI/CD tooling, cloud networking, or developer platforms.
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals for troubleshooting connectivity.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools for production code delivery.
- Ability to operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
