Base Salary
$92k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead testing strategies for document conversion, viewing, rendering, and comparison capabilities across PDF, Microsoft Office, image, and CAD/CAM documents.
- Validate document fidelity, including formatting, graphics, fonts, diagrams, technical drawings, metadata, and potential data loss.
- Own quality across a portfolio of document loaders and products, including updates, risks, priorities, and regression requirements.
- Develop automated tests and internal tools using Selenium, SQL, Excel, and C++-based utilities.
- Partner with Product Management, Development, and Operations to prioritize work based on business impact, technical risk, and client needs.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and quality guidance while improving QA processes, tooling, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Strong experience in software quality engineering, test automation, and enterprise application testing.
- Familiarity with document technologies, file formats, PDF processing, rendering, conversion, or graphics-oriented applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail in identifying differences in layouts, fonts, diagrams, graphics, and converted output.
- Experience with Selenium, SQL, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, ValueEdge, Confluence, and issue tracking platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple products, priorities, and dependencies while maintaining high quality standards.
- Some programming experience, preferably with C++, scripting, or development of internal testing utilities.
- Experience in graphics-intensive, document-centric, gaming, 3D visualization, CAD/CAM, engineering, or construction software environments is highly valued.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
