
Senior Consultant - Clinical Data Programming

Responsibilities
- Advise customers and clinical sites on trial design, Vault CDMS configuration, best practices, training, and mentorship.
- Interpret clinical protocols and project specifications and lead database development activities according to project plans.
- Coordinate data transfers with central labs, ECG, eCOA, IRT, and other clinical data providers.
- Configure forms, rules, study items, SQL-based listings, and data imports in Vault CDMS and Veeva DQS.
- Conduct user acceptance testing, manage feedback and issue resolution, and support study acceptance and go-live activities.
- Gather requirements, write specifications, identify project risks, and communicate contingency plans to project management.
- Support developers and testers and share data management feedback with the Vault CDMS product team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with EDC clinical software and end-to-end clinical data management.
- Understanding of clinical trial processes, especially data collection and review.
- Programming experience with SAS, R, JSON, Python, or SQL and ability to learn new SQL-based languages.
- Life sciences industry experience across project assessment, planning, development, training, and implementation.
- Experience in customer-facing software professional services or consulting is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while meeting project timelines.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%, potentially including internationally.
- Familiarity with GCDMP, CDISC, SDTMIG, CDASH, or ADaM is preferred.
- Experience with clinical technology integrations, REST-based APIs, translating protocols into software specifications, or Veeva applications is preferred.
- A degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
