Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical configuration, system design validation, integration, and deployment of mobile solutions through live service delivery.
- Capture customer operational requirements and translate them into high-availability technical architectures.
- Integrate solutions securely with customer IT and infrastructure environments.
- Validate high-availability and failover configurations and troubleshoot complex software and infrastructure issues.
- Produce technical documentation covering system designs, interfaces, and implementation patterns.
- Act as a technical contact for customers, internal engineering teams, and third-party suppliers.
Requirements
- First-class or 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Systems Architecture, IT, or an engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of systems engineering, network security, Microsoft Server environments, or database management through academic study, placements, or practical projects.
- Knowledge of system-level architecture, WAN technologies, routing, firewalls, Server Core, IIS, Application Request Routing, file shares, load balancing, Microsoft Server failover clustering, SQL queries, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure or hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, stakeholder communication, and written and spoken English skills.
- Ability to obtain NPPV3 and SC security clearance, requiring UK residency.
- Industrial placement or internship experience in enterprise systems engineering, infrastructure, or software deployment is preferred.
- Familiarity with UK blue-light agencies, control room operations, or Mobile Data Terminal software is preferred.
