Responsibilities
- Own complex iOS features from technical design through implementation, testing, release, and iteration.
- Build polished interfaces using UIKit and SwiftUI, including interoperability between them.
- Design and maintain networking layers covering API integration, authentication, error handling, retries, and caching.
- Validate user flows, visual details, and edge cases across supported devices and iOS versions.
- Improve app performance, reliability, maintainability, and engineering quality through code reviews and development-practice improvements.
- Contribute to product decisions and collaborate with product, design, backend, and engineering teams.
- Use AI coding assistants and agents for exploration, implementation, testing, and debugging while critically evaluating their output.
Requirements
- Strong native iOS development experience with a record of shipping and maintaining production applications.
- Deep proficiency in Swift and strong experience with both UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Strong networking fundamentals and experience building reliable, maintainable network layers.
- Ability to deliver features independently with sound technical judgment, clear communication, and strong ownership.
- Strong product taste and attention to user experience, interactions, flows, and visual details.
- Comfort with ambiguity, urgency, fast-moving environments, knowledge sharing, and deliberate trade-offs.
- Ability to build and deploy simple backend services and APIs is preferred.
- Experience with server-driven UI, including client compatibility and fallback behavior, is preferred.
- Experience integrating Stripe into mobile payment flows is preferred.
