Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and debug low-level software across software models, development boards, and shipping products.
- Design and implement features and bug fixes in Trusted Firmware, secure OS, bootloaders, hypervisors, AOSP, and the Linux kernel.
- Act as a people manager or technical lead by supporting engineer growth, guiding teams, mentoring junior engineers, and coordinating predictable delivery of quality software.
- Analyze and fix sophisticated defects and contribute to software profiling, instrumentation, and optimization.
Requirements
- 14+ years of demonstrated experience.
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills and the ability to add significant new functionality.
- Strong debugging skills, knowledge of assembly, and expertise in low-level software, system architecture, preferably ARM, OS fundamentals, and bootloaders.
- Understanding of test methodologies, CI, and test automation.
- Technical leadership or people management experience, including mentoring junior engineers.
- Preferred qualifications include Python and shell scripting, profiling and optimization, Security Development Lifecycle practices, and open-source development, upstreaming, and codeline maintenance experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and spoken English skills.
