Base Salary
$152k - $279k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, optimize, and deploy production-scale AI solutions from concept through continuous improvement.
- Develop generative AI, machine learning, retrieval, predictive modeling, LLM, RAG, and agentic systems.
- Partner with business and product teams to identify opportunities, define success metrics, and validate value through experimentation.
- Define evaluation frameworks and improve AI quality, reliability, safety, performance, and cost.
- Partner with Engineering on scalable production solutions using MLOps and LLMOps practices.
- Create reusable AI frameworks, evaluation assets, and technical standards to accelerate enterprise adoption.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance on complex cross-functional AI initiatives.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in applied AI, machine learning, or data science, including production AI deployments.
- Proven success delivering AI solutions that produce measurable business outcomes.
- Deep expertise in machine learning, statistics, experimentation, predictive analytics, and modern AI techniques.
- Hands-on experience building LLM, RAG, agentic, and machine learning solutions.
- Experience with AI evaluation, model optimization, responsible AI, production monitoring, MLOps, LLMOps, cloud AI platforms, APIs, and software engineering practices.
- Proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, and MLflow.
- Strong product mindset, problem-solving ability, and communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred: master's degree or PhD in computer science, AI, machine learning, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience building agent-based solutions.
- Preferred: experience with enterprise-scale AI in regulated or security-sensitive environments and leadership of complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Preferred: contributions to AI research, patents, publications, or open-source projects.
